Obituary for Richard Carter

Richard E. Carter, 64, of Eureka, CA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 10th at his residence.

Born on February 22, 1953, in Kenosha, he was the first-born son of Cecil and Lucrezia (Citerony) Carter.

Richard spent many years as a caretaker, enjoyed time with his friends and neighbors, and adored his cats and fish.

He is survived by his father, Cecil, of Kenosha; three sisters, Lorette Ann (Larry) Lough of MD, Claudia (Craig) Mossman of VA, and Lauren (Richard) Buroker of Mt. Pleasant, WI, and one brother, Charles (Nicole) Carter of Kenosha.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Lucrezia “Atze” Carter.

His wish was that memorials be sent to Humboldt Animal Rescue Team, 8 W. 6th Street, Eureka, CA 95501; Sequoia Humane Society, 6072 Loma Avenue, Eureka, CA 95503; or Wisconsin Right to Life, 5317 N 118th Court, Milwaukee, WI 53225.
