Obituary for Vincenzo "Vince" Schiavi
Vincenzo “Vince” Schiavi, 76, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019.
Born in Controguerra, Italy, on July 3, 1942, he was the son of the late Filippo and Nicolina (Imperiali) Schiavi.
On July 29, 1965, he married Maria Casalena in Italy. She preceded him in death on October 1, 2000.
Vince was a mason and was employed at Camosy Construction for over 30 years. He will be remembered for the many beautiful fireplaces he built, as well as his own home. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, going up north, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Phillip Schiavi, Gabriel (Joy) Schiavi, Rosemary (Jon Lipscomb) Schiavi, and Barbara Schiavi; a daughter-in-law, Rossella Schiavi; seven grandchildren, LiaMaria, Joseph, Matteo, Francesco, Priscilla, Nicole, and Olivia; two great-grandchildren, Toretto and Ashton; and two siblings, Luciano (Luciana) Schiavi and Giannina (Giannino) Moroni.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Schiavi, on September 2, 2018.
As per Vince’s request, private services were held.
