I first met Tim when he was at American Motors. Tim worked for my father, Herb Haubrich, in the metallurgy lab at AMC. Later I got to know Tim socially, both when I was a student at UW and when I returned to Kenosha. Tim was an usher at our wedding. Always liked Tim's free spirit attitude. Tim never let his infirmities stop him from having a good time. Kinda of lost track of Tim in recent years, although my brother, Todd, saw Tim frequently at Festival Food Store. After Tim lost his legs he would go into Festival's and ask my brother where he could find shoe laces. It was typical Tim, never let your handicap define you. Will miss you Tim. Only wish we could have reconnected again. Would have loved having you come out to see us in Surprise, AZ.
