Stacia Martha Sarah Franklin was born on August 6, 2007, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the proud parents Marla and Homer Franklin.
On March 9, 2019, Stacia was called home to the heavenly father.
Stacia was in 5th grade at Curtis Strange Elementary School. She enjoyed reading Dr. Suess books, coloring, drawing and writing.
Stacia Martha Sarah Franklin is survived by her mother, Marla Franklin; her father, Homer Franklin; her sisters, Ashley, Cassandra, and Sade; brothers, Tyron, Toney, Christopher, Lewis and Zundrea; nieces and nephews, King, Marlyssia, Kaiden, Jahlil, Zarianna, and Princeton; Aunty Sarah, Aunty Mary, Aunty Ann, Aunty Gidget, Aunty Tameka, Uncle Flemon Jr., Uncle Will, Uncle Cortez; cousins, Marland, Shiquita, Taronia, Kiana, Sacoya, Latoya, Tania, DeMarcus, Del’von, Kiarrah, Za’niya, Za’naya, Za’miya, Za’mir, and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Flemon and Martha; paternal grandmother, Emma; niece, A’marianna; and Uncle Tito.
The family of Stacia acknowledges with great appreciation the many expressions of kindness and sympathy shown during our time of bereavement.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019, at Proko Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
