After a short but valiant battle, Sima Kreager, 56, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away from kidney cancer on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

Born in Mashhad, Iran, on February 10, 1963, she was the daughter of Hachem and Mariam (Borhani) Sepehri.

While attending Medical school, she met Michael Kreager. They were married on June 28. 1985, in Baltimore, MD.

Sima was proud to receive her medical degree but was most proud of her children. She enjoyed traveling, cruises, sewing, spending time at their beach house on Lake Michigan, and hosting tea parties at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Michael Kreager; her children, Christopher, Stephanie, and Steven Kreager; her parents, Dr. Hachem Sepehri and Dr. Mariam Borhani; and her siblings, Sina Sepehri and Betina (Ahmed Sorayanejad) Sepehri. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8th, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend time with your loved ones.

My sincere sympathies to Dr. Kreager and his family on your wife’s leaving this earth too soon. I did not know your wife but I know the pain of losing your loved one. Almost One year after my husband Michael Ludas died ion Oct. 1, 2011 at St. Catherines, you helped me to stay alive when I was brought into St. Catherines with heart attack. I thank you for keeping me here to be able to be with my family and I am so sorry you had to lose your precious wife. May you find peace in the love of your children and those around you that can keep her loving memories alive for all to enjoy through the years. Sincerely Geraldine Ludas

Dr. Kreager, our deepest sympathy to you and your children. We were so sorry to read of Sima's death. I remember when you were deciding on coming to Kenosha. I had a phone call from Sima asking about our speech therapy program. She wanted to be sure that appropriate services were available before she committed to the move. She was so gracious and friendly and by the time the conversation concluded, I felt that I had made a new friend! She indeed was such a lovely lady. There must be such a huge void in your lives. We share your sadness. May the good memories you all have help to ease your current pain and may Sima's memory forever be a blessing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your children.

I first met Seema at Parkside swimming classes , she used to take her kids for swimming classes and I used to take mine . There she looked at me and said I have seen you somewhere , I told her at the Christmas party . We ended up chatting for half an hour . Both of us had a very busy life back then with kids runnning around . I noticed that there was always a smile on her face , so infectious that one ended up smiling with her . Her concern and love for her husband , her kids were first in her list . I learnt to smile always a beautiful legacy . No one can replace her but remember the beautiful smile and let be a memory .
