Obituary for Roxanne Renee Metz (Wolfe)

Roxanne Metz, 60, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Grande Prairie Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Waukegan, IL, on January 24, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Duane Sr. and Elaine (Matteucci) Wolfe. She was a member of the L.C.O. Tribe.

On July 21, 1982, she married the love of her life, Anthony Metz. He preceded her in death on November 29, 2019.

Roxanne worked at various nursing homes over the years as a CNA. She enjoyed crocheting, going to the casino, and playing with her grandchildren. Her loving and caring personality will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her children, Shannon (Daniel), Carrie, Anthony (Haley) Jr., and Lindsey (Brandon); five grandchildren, Vincent, Rhianna, Kingston, Carson, and Logan; and two brothers, Duane (Jodi) Wolfe, Jr. and Sean (Tammy) Wolfe. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Benjamin Metz; and a brother, Darrin Wolfe.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 18th, at Proko Funeral Home, from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
