I knew Randy for over 50 years as he and my brother Doug were lifelong best friends. Randy was a genuine, interesting, fun, kind and caring person. I was always amazed at how much he knew about sports. As young teenagers Randy, Doug and I joined a few others lining up in front of the sports store downtown overnight to get Packers tickets. We had a blast. My dad would come by and check on us. Randy and Doug were even interviewed on television.
I was impressed with his books and his faith.
I will miss Randy very much. I know he is with the Lord, whom he loved.
To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die. And Randy will live in our hearts forever.
My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Randy called me up in 2013, asking if I needed help with the Class of 1974 Reunion. Ever since that call, we reconnected enjoying our time together as we searched and reconnected with our fellow classmates. I will forever treasure those years. The upcoming years will have a void in the absence of his talents and personality. Rest In Peace dear friend. Sending condolences to the family.

I knew Randy since 7th Grade. We would spend summer days working out on the Lance track in preparation for the football season. After the workout, Randy would come over to my house and we would guzzle down a pitcher of kool-aid. Randy turned out to be a good football player and played throughout his high school years. He had many accomplishments throughout his life but I think his most rewarding accomplishments was getting his 4 books published. It was stories as he wanted to tell them. I recently re-connected with him as we worked on the Tremper reunion planning the last couple years. When we all get together for the 50th, there will be one gaping hole on the classmate roster. RIP Randy.

I didn't know Randy very well in high school but got to know him better the past several years through Facebook and our Class Reunions that he helped coordinate. He loved our school and was very passionate in getting as many people to come to our Reunions as possible.
He will be missed by many.
My prayers go up for his family.
Pam, I am so sorry for your loss.
