Ralph Houghton was one of the most important people in my life. He hired me to direct the Lincoln Junior High School Band and then put me at Bradford High School where I began to mature under his watchful eye.Ralph got me involved in the State Music Educators group and encourage me to be the best I could be. However, more than anything else, he was always a pillar of integrity and warmth for me even in my darkest hours. Ralph will always remain the strength of my life. May God bless Jane and family.
