Nancy A. Fuller, 86, of Pleasant Prairie, WI, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital – Elmbrook Campus in Brookfield, WI.
Born in Chicago, IL on July 19, 1936, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Zinn) Quinn. She was raised in Chicago and moved to Antioch, IL when she was a freshman in high school.
On August 29, 1959 she married John Fuller in Waukegan, IL. Together they moved to Kenosha, WI to make their home and raise their two children, Peggy and Patrick. Nancy had various work positions in life from homemaker, pre-school teacher and Admissions Officer at UW-Parkside. She retired in 1998 and became a nanny for her son’s children.
Nancy was the epitome of family and faith. She loved spending time in her home, gardening and decorating for any and all celebrations (especially Christmas). She spent countless hours doing word and sudoku puzzles. She had a passion for shopping and endlessly watched the QVC Network. Nancy was an avid, loyal Chicago Bears fan who loved watching all football games except the Green Bay Packers.
Nancy is survived by her two children, Dr. Patrick John (Dr. Julie) Fuller of Brookfield, WI, and Peggy Kay (Steve) Mertz of Kenosha, WI: grandchildren, Michael, Sara, Shannon, Stephanie, Jennifer, and Robert; and great-grandchild, Elizabeth.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, John “Bud,” Harry, and Bobby; her good friend Bob Jarnigo; and her beloved Schnauzers (Foo-Foo, Fluffy, and Patches).
Visitation for Nancy will take place on Friday, January 6, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 7307 40th Ave. Kenosha, WI 53142, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at All Saints Cemetery.
