Mercedes Reed, age 59, of Trevor, WI passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in Kenosha, WI. Mercedes was a born again Christian who put her faith first. She was a strong and fun-loving woman who enjoyed spending time with loved ones, boating and traveling.

Mercedes is preceded in death by her previous husband Donald Cuba, her parents Thomas and Alvera Zapparato, and her sister Rose Rodriguez.

Mercedes is survived by her husband Paul; daughters Heather and Erica; nephew and niece, Anthony (Chrystine) and Arianna (Omar); and her stepchildren Christina (Bill) Stephanie (Hank), Stefanie (Tim), Rachel (Eric) and Mitch.

She is survived by her many grandchildren Michael, James, Mateo, Carter, Olivia, Bentley, and Max

Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 26th, at Proko Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A service will take place Monday, December 28th, at Highpoint Church 1805 High Point Drive Naperville, IL. at 11:00 a.m. To view the service please copy and past the following link into your browser, Interment will be private.

I remember coming over throughout high school and even part of college to hang out with Erica and have sleepovers at her house. Mercedes was always so welcoming and so fun to be around. I know she will be missed by many. I am happy that I got to know her the few years I had with her.
