Obituary for Mary Ann Melograno (Rowan)
Mary Ann Melograno, 66 years old of Bristol, WI, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 10, 2021 surrounded by her favorite people, her family.
Mary Ann was born in San Diego, CA May 4, 1955, to the late James and Esther (Suchogurski) Rowan. She was raised in Chicago, IL and proud of her Catholic education and city roots. Her family later moved to Rolling Meadows, IL where she met Michael and they were married on October 29, 1977. They chose to settle in Bristol, WI just a few years later where together they grew their family. Mary Ann took special pride in being a bookkeeper at some prominent Kenosha County businesses the former Micro-Finish Screw Products, Villani, Becker & Larsen CPAs, Gagliardi Law, and her current position at Zenith Healthcare.
Mary Ann cherished her family and their traditions like making perogies, holiday get-togethers, and traveling to Galena, IL for Thanksgiving. She donated her time by making gift baskets for local raffles and fundraisers. Her greatest joy were her grandkids. She was always there for them, cheering them on and encouraging them to do their best. “Nonnie” was their biggest fan!
Survivors include her husband of 44 years Michael; children, Nicole (Josh) Zeller, Joe Melograno and Luke Melograno; siblings Barb Welsh and Patty (Pat) Fasano; sister-in-law, Linda Rowan; grandchildren Jack, Owen and Molly Zeller and Leo Melograno. She is further survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her brother James Rowan and brother-in-law John Welsh.
Memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:00 p.m. June 18, 2021, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 9091 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie, WI. Interment will be held privately.
