Obituary for Jennifer Ann Peters (Modory)
Jennifer Peters, 75, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021, at Froedtert South Kenosha.
Born January 25, 1946, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Anthony and Elsie (Stank) Modory. She married Kent E. Peters on April 12, 1969.
Jennifer received a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Education. She was employed through the Kenosha Unified School District as a first-grade teacher until her retirement in 1970. After retirement, she transitioned into being a loving caregiver and companion to her mom and dad.
Jennifer enjoyed, playing piano, and baking. She took countless trips with her husband and parents, to several countries, including Egypt, Hungary, China, Russia, and Greece. She enjoyed the food and culture that all her travels led her to.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Kent Peters. She is further survived by other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Proko Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Green Ridge Cemetery.
