Obituary for Gail Agnes Walker (Lefebvre)

Gail Agnes Walker, of Apache Junction, AZ, formerly of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021, in the Phoenix Valley overlooking her beloved Superstition Mountains.

In the early 1960’s, Gail worked for Continental Airlines, traveling the West and settling in Los Angeles, CA. She married Charles F. Seidl and had two sons. In 1966, Gail returned to Kenosha and, together with her mother, gave her children a beautiful upbringing. Led by two amazing women, the foursome enjoyed Lefebvre family get-togethers, classic campouts, and fabulous road trips. Gail excelled at knitting, sewing, singing in the church choir, and being the boss. The entire family was steeped in music.

In 1982, Gail married F. James Walker. Together, they expanded family traditions of camping and traveling and togetherness. Dozens of friends and extended family called Gail Mom and she played mother to them all. Gail and Jim both retired from American Motors/Chrysler, enjoying the good life and eventually finding a winter home near Phoenix.

Survivors include her sons, Scott Seidl and Paul F. (Elizabeth Jamond) Lefebvre; stepchildren, Jim (Gina) Walker and family, Kathryn Lashley and family, Patricia Walker Gall; sister-in-law, Sandra Lefebvre; nieces, Barbara Wolff and Family, Kathy Everly and family, Theresa Worrall and family, Michelle Kampshoff and family; nephew, Mark Lefebvre and family; and cousins, Fr. Robert Rhyner, Jack Rhyner, and Nancy Knopp. In addition to her parents and her second husband, Gail was preceded in death by her brothers Phil Lefebvre and Paul J. Lefebvre, her sister Ruth Ann Eischeid, and her stepson Robert Walker.

Visitation will take place from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Proko Funeral Home. Mass will follow at 12:00 noon at St. Mark Catholic Church, 7117 14th Avenue, Kenosha. Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum, 3300 Springbrook Rd., Pleasant Prairie, WI.
