Obituary for Gail Marie Stuebner (Voyta)

Gail Marie (Voyta) Stuebner, 72 years old of Salem, WI passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital.

She was born March 12, 1950, in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Ralph and Doris (Runowski) Voyta.

Gail attended schools in the Chicagoland area and graduated from Arlington Heights High School. She went on to attend beauty school and worked as a hairdresser for many years. Gail was the retail manager of multiple Carter’s locations before retiring in 2011. In her free time, she enjoyed family, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her dog, Trish.

Gail was known to be selfless, kindhearted, giving, strong and thoughtful; always putting others before herself. She was respected by all who were blessed to have known her. Gail enjoyed life and made the most of everyday, no matter what crossed her path. She will be sorely missed by all that loved her.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Wendy (Duke) Winkler of Antioch, IL; grandson, Nicholas Winkler and bonus grandson, Gavin Winkler. She is further survived by her loving siblings, who always supported her, Vicky (David), Nancy, and Tone (Joy). Gail leaves her beloved dog, Trish, and other relatives & many friends.

Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Proko Funeral Home with services commencing at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Kidney Fund, https://www.kidneyfund.org/.
