Frankie was a passionate, energetic spirit. What I appreciated most was his positive attitude with family, friends and his players. I truly loved his competitive spirit, instilling in his players the desire to always do your best. While Frankie spent too little time with us, he had tremendous impact on those he touched. We will miss him dearly but his spirit and great smile will live on. Larry Carbone

I am sending our deepest sympathies to the Matrise family. Our prayers go out to the familiy for blessings and comfort.
We have some wonderful memories of Coach Matrise, from being a part of the 2003 and 2004 Tremper football team. Coach saw to it that we were all like a close family. There was lots of good food and togetherness!
We will always remember Coach Matrise and miss him. He was a man of intergrity and heart, a true community leader.
Rest In Peace Coach Matrise.❤
