Obituary for Doris Roach
Doris L. Roach, 70, of Salem Lakes, WI, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2019, at Froedtert South-St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus.
Born in Kenosha on April 6, 1948, she was the daughter of Frederick and Fernabelle (Owen) Olson.
On October 9, 1983, she married John James Roach in Dakota, MN; he preceded her in death on February 26, 2019.
Doris worked as a cook for Ralph’s and also Mentone’s in Kenosha County and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Silver Lake, WI.
Survivors include her mother, Fernabelle Howell of Pleasant Prairie; six siblings, June Salb of Pleasant Prairie, Karen (Jack) Gerber of Paddock Lake, Fred Olson, Jr. of Camp Lake, Mary (Ken) Davis of Camp Lake, Tina (Todd) Richards of Bristol and Jon Olson of Kansasville; and a grandson, Samuel Grasseschi.
She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Louie Grasseschi, Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, at Westosha Lakes Church, 24823-74th Street, Salem, WI, at 12:00 noon. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.
