Obituary for Dolores Laveau (Hill)
Dolores Laveau, 85, of Waterford, WI, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Aurora Memorial Hospital in Burlington, WI.
Born in Minnesota, on August 7, 1937, she was the daughter of the late John and Vera (Hanus) Hill.
On March 1, 1958, she married Lyle J. Laveau. In 1962, they moved to Chicago, IL; two years later they moved to Racine,WI; and then they retired to Florida in 1995. He preceded her in death on September 21, 2018.
Dolores enjoyed cooking, making every meal from scratch, playing bridge, gardening, golfing, tennis, line dancing, and traveling.
Survivors include her four children: Robert (Patricia) Laveau of Raleigh, NC, Renee (James) Heney of Greensboro, GA, Tammy (Larry) Proko of Kenosha, WI, and Kevin (Ginger) Laveau of Waukesha, WI; six grandchildren: Rachael (Dreu) Viola, Leah (Andy) Pitts, Alissa (Mouath) Halabia, Thomas Heney, Katherine (David Gardner) Laveau, and Karlie (Tony) Bettack; and six great-grandchildren: Domenico and Adriana Viola, Claire and Charlotte Pitts; and Zayd and Malik Halabia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson: Michael Heney; and brother: Haven Hill.
Services for Dolores were held privately.
