Dean David Morton, 71, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Froedtert South in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Born on July 25, 1950, in Kenosha, WI, he was the son of the late Earl and Delores (Harrema) Morton. Growing up in lived in Twin Lakes, WI, and attended local schools.
Dean proudly served in the National Guard.
On May 7, 1977, he married Marilyn Vogler in Kenosha, WI.
Dean was employed by Snap-On as a machinist, and Bear Realty as a realtor until his retirement.
He enjoyed skiing, boating, golfing, attending Snap-On Rec Club events, spending time outside, and taking trips to Eagle River, WI with his friend Erv.
Dean is survived by his wife, Marilyn Morton of Kenosha, WI; three children, Brian (Erin) Morton of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Lizzie (Paul) Helminiak of Cedarburg, WI, and Linnea (fiancé Joseph Kuffel) Morton of Milwaukee, WI; five grandchildren, Rhody, Linnea, Addison, Tucker, and Tate; sister, Debbie (Dave) VanDerwerff of Burlington, WI; brother, Jeff Morton of Baraboo, WI; and two sisters-in-law, Linnea (Mike) Pitts, and Liz Puntillo both of Kenosha, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Joseph “Joey” Morton; and his sister-in-law, Linda Morton.
Private services were held per Dean’s request.
