Obituary for Claude Eugene Roncone
Claude E. Roncone, 95 years old of Mt. Pleasant, WI passed away surrounded by his loving family Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine, WI.
He was born February 2, 1927, in Sykesville, PA, the son of the late John and Jessie (Pingatore) Roncone. Claude proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II and was honorably discharged. On January 15, 1955, he married Janice Thompson in Chicago, IL. Claude was employed in upholstery sales for many years prior to retirement.
Claude was an Elks member and very active within the organization in Homosassa, FL. He enjoyed reading and cherished time spent with his family.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 68 years, Janice; daughter, Pam (John Wright) Roncone; grandchildren, Michael (Alexandra) Wenz, Ellen Wright, and Lauren Wright; and great-grandchildren, Luke Wenz, Isaac Wenz, and Caleb Wenz. Claude is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Claudia Wenz; and brothers, Grant Roncone, Edwin Roncone, and John Roncone.
Services for Claude will be held privately. Arrangements were entrusted to Proko Funeral Home.
