Her brother, James and her were quite close growing up at only thirteen months apart. They often traveled together to visit their parent’s retirement home in North Central Wisconsin.
Cheryl had a nephew Jason (Shawna), daughter Claire, from Kenosha, and niece Jennifer Butler (2nd Lt. Zachery USAF), son Eli currently from Mississippi. Cheryl had a close friend Jerry Paupore that she knew for forty years who also helped care for her the last few months of her life.
Cheryl had a lifelong battle with a rare blood disorder that prevented her from doing many things personally and with her family. She endured many physician visits, transfusions and medication regimes. She will always be remembered for her strength while struggling with her illness.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Laverne (Grabowicz) Willoughby, grandparents, and other loving family and friends.
