Obituary for Anthony L. Santelli

Anthony L. Santelli, 42, of Kenosha, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin-Center for Advanced Care in Wauwatosa.

Born in Kenosha on September 21, 1976, he was the son of Guy and Gemma (Guidotti) Santelli. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he attended Jeffery Elementary School, Lance Middle School, and graduated from Tremper High School and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

On September 9, 2000, he married Jennifer Strunk at St. Peter Catholic Church.

Tony was Vice President of Business Development and Midwest Manager for DowellGroup. He had a passion for what he did and loved the relationships he built along the way. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Academy Athletic Association. He loved entertaining, helping others, and most importantly, spending time with his family.

Tony’s great legacy lives on through his wife, Jennifer; two children, Julia and Joseph; his mother, Gemma Santelli of Kenosha; four brothers, Sammy (Mary Jo) Santelli of Kenosha, Paul (Debbie) Santelli of Green Bay, Timothy (Anna) Santelli of Kenosha, and Guy II (Anna) Santelli of Kenosha; his in-laws, Michael and Linda Strunk of Kenosha; a brother-in-law, Jeff (Carolynn) Strunk of Kenosha; nieces and nephews, Maria (Nick) Rogers, Ashley (Matt) Tennie, Monica Santelli, Vinny Santelli, Douglas Santelli, Francesca Santelli, Adrianna Santelli, Dominic Santelli, Matteo Santelli, Nash Strunk and Seraphina Strunk; and his beloved dog, Rudy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Santelli on March 15, 2016.

Tony’s family would like to give special thanks to Dr. James Thomas, Yee Lan Wong, PA, and the entire staff of the Faith Clinic at Froedtert Cancer Center, the oncology staff at Froedtert Center for Advanced Care, especially Dr. Krista Wiger and Brenda, Corey, Gail, Tammy and Stephanie for all of the kind and compassionate care they gave him. Additionally, to Dr. Jeffrey Aldred for always being there for him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22nd, at Proko Funeral Home from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, with a prayer service at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. and Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
