Alfredo Greco, Sr., 80, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020, at Froedtert South Kenosha with his loving family by his side.

Born in Marano Principato, province of Cosenza, Italy on June 25,1940; he was the son of the late Anthony and Vingenzina (Morrelli) Greco.

Alfredo came to the United States in 1958, and later he proudly received his American Citizenship. He trained as a tailor in Italy. When he moved to Kenosha he worked as a tailor at Puntillo’s. He then worked at Isermann Brothers. Alfredo also worked security at Wilmot Raceway, where his kids had the pleasure of joining him. He worked at American Brass as a carpenter until they closed the doors, when he then decided to retire.

On May 27, 1961, he married Louise “Lulu” Tenuta at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

He was a member of Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He enjoyed cooking, working on his 1965 Cadillac with his grandson Kyle, and attending car shows.

Alfredo is survived by his adoring wife, Lulu Greco of Kenosha; his three children, Linda (Larry) McDermott of Kenosha, Christine “Chris” (John) Brunner of Kenosha, and Alfredo (Kristy) Greco, Jr. of Lorena, TX; six grandchildren, Kyle McDermott, Kristoffer (Katrina) McDermott, Channa (Joe) Phillips, Allyson (Neil) Klingensmith, Johnny (Taylor Legried) Brunner, and Emily Greco; two great-grandchildren, Henry McDermott and Micah Klingensmith; and three brothers, Adolfo, Aldo, and Fedele Greco. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other loving family, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Alfredo was preceded in death by his sister, Jolsomina "Jemma" Lucchetta.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with private entombment at All Saints Mausoleum due to the current health pandemic.
