John Paul Kendall, 56, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday (May 27th, 2005) at Kenosha Medical Center.
Born October 23, 1948, in Merrill, WI, he was the son of the late Martin P. and Juliette (Laugier) Kendall. He came to Kenosha in the mid 1980's and has resided here since.
On June 23, 1989, he married Margaret Tagliapietra in Kenosha.
He was employed as a Funeral Director in various funeral homes in California, Arizona and Wisconsin.
He enjoyed carpentry, woodworking, fishing, story telling and the use of his riding lawn mower.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret T. Kendall of Kenosha; two sons, John P. (Amy) Kendall Jr. of Baraboo, and Robert Martin (Julie) Kendall of Ridgewood, IL; two step-daughters, Theresa (Jacques) VanLanduyt of Kenosha, and Carol (Matt) Jensen of Kenosha; two sisters, Julia Pauline Lopez of Las Vegas, NV, and Katherine Ann Fittante of Antigo, WI; a brother, Edward Wick Kendall of Arizona; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral prayers will be held on Tuesday, May 31st, at 9:30 a.m. at Proko Funeral Home. Funeral services at 10:00 a.m. from St. Mark's Catholic Church. Interment to follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at Proko Funeral Home. Memorials to Kathy's House Inc. in Milwaukee or Relay for Life would be appreciated by the family.
