I got to know Ralph 6 or 7 years ago.I saw him and his wife Jane on a regular basis.At no time did he tell me that he was a veteran or a POW.At no time did he tell me that he is an icon.I cannot believe that a human being can be so humble and unassuming.As the saying goes"it is nice to be important but more important to be nice".Ralph's focus was centered around the health and welfare of his wife.What a remarkable human being.I will miss him
