Obituary for Terry Lee Dunham

Terry Lee Dunham, 63, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, IL.
Born in Kenosha on September 30, 1947, he was the son of the late Kenneth F. and Irene O. (Shepard) Dunham. He was a resident of Kenosha most of his life and was a truck driver for many years.
On July 19, 2009, he married Judy Pate at Highground in Nielsville, WI.
On February 27, 1967, he entered the United States Army where he proudly served in Vietnam, during 1967 and 1968. He then re-entered the service on August 1, 1976, until his honorable discharge February 11, 1977. Terry was a Helicopter Crew Chief. He received the Vietnam Service Medal with four Bronze Service Stars, National Defense Service Medal and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Terry was honored to serve his country that he loved throughout his life.
He was a member of Kenosha Area Vietnam Vets and V.F.W. Junker Ball Post #1865. Terry enjoyed spending time with his family, working in the yard and fixing things around the house.
Surviving are his wife, Judy of Kenosha; a daughter, Cheri (Johnathan) Rose of Sparta, WI; seven brothers and sisters; JoAnne (Henry) Daniels, Kenosha; Keith (Marilyn) Dunham, Kenosha; Jacqueline (Bruno) Fani, Kenosha; Sherry (James) Johnson, Humboldt, TN; Paul (Cindy), Humboldt, TN; Charles (Sue) Dunham, Humboldt, TN; Lori (James) Camerota, Kenosha; and his four grandchildren; Chynna, Michael, Sophie and Samantha.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Lahti, and a niece, Jamie Johnson.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Hadad, the Oncology staff and the hospital staff of Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, IL, for all of their kindness.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 21st, at Proko Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The V.F.W. Junker Ball Post #1865 will conduct services on Sunday at Proko Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. On Monday, relatives and friends are asked to meet at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park Chapel for a committal service at 10:30 a.m. with full military honors.
