Arthur D. West, 59, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Baldwin County, GA, he was the son of the late Harvey Cooper and Margaret C. (Dixon) Doyle.
Arthur was an all-around handy-man and was employed at LeBlanc, Frost Co., the power company, Mary Cleaning Services, K.U.S.D., and was a self-employed mechanic, landscaper, and general contractor. He was a cowboy at heart and loved western movies, an avid Atlanta Falcons, Hawks, and Braves fan, enjoyed helping others, coaching soccer, working on cars, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his six children, John “Shawn” (Michell) Hill, Arthur T. (JoAnna) West, Stephanie West, Kendrick West, Kendal (Rebecca) West, and Slynthia “Brittany” West; 16 grandchildren with another on the way; and two great-grandchildren. He is further survived by many siblings, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4th, at Proko Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery.
